CONSTITUTION

 

Article I

Name

 

The Organization shall be known as the Spring-Ford Booster Club.

 

Article II

Mission

 

The purpose of the Organization is to accomplish the following:

  • Bring into one active group the people who have an interest in promoting the Spring-Ford Area School District’s athletic program and its athletes.
  • Reward athletes for their leadership and athletic ability.
  • Sponsor athletic events.
  • Celebrate athletic achievements.
  • Conduct Booster Club fundraising events.
  • Support team fundraising events.

 

Article III

Eligibility for Membership

 

The Organization shall be comprised of community members who are interested in the promotion of the Spring-Ford athletic programs.

 

Article IV

By-laws and Amendments

 

The Organization shall, by a majority favorable vote of all members present at a meeting called for the purpose, adopt attached set of “By-laws” which, except for this Constitution, shall thereafter govern this Organization.

 

Said “By-laws” can be amended only by reading the proposed changes at three consecutive regular monthly meetings with a majority of membership present voting for adoption at the third meeting.

 

Article V

Adoption

 

This constitution shall be in effect after adopted by a majority vote of all members present on the date of its adoption.
